Vi offers riding holidays with riding on Icelandic horses. The Icelandic horses, with their good minds and pleasant gaits, are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. We have around 40 riding horses and therefore have a good chance of finding a horse that in mind and temperament suits the individual rider.
Arrival Monday from 16. We recommend the ferry from Frederikshavn at 14.40 (in week 27 the ferry at 15.20 from Frederikshavn is recommended).
After accommodation and briefing, the riders are divided into teams according to riding experience. The horses are saddled up and tested in the riding hall, so we can see if horse and rider match. Afterwards, dinner is served in the café.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday breakfast is served at 08.00-08.45. After that, food packages are greased.
09.30 we meet in the stable, where the horses are distributed and saddled. Depending on the weather, the day trip goes either on the Rønnerne or in the plantation.
At midday, the horses are closed in an enclosure, and we can then have lunch in the open air.
Approx. 15.30-16pm we are back at the farm, where coffee/tea and home-baked cake are served.
At 19.00 dinner is served.

begins: You have never ridden, or you have ridden a few times in the past but never received lessons.
Lower intermediate: You can hold the reins correctly, stop and steer correctly. Has ridden trot/canter/gallop several times without problems. "Rusty" adults and children who have ridden for several years at riding school often belong in this category.
Routined: You have been riding for several years and have ridden all types of terrain. You have the balance to stand safely in the stirrups at a canter and have control of half parades.
The choice of level is not final. We talk to all participants before the horses are distributed. This is just to have an overall picture of levels.
Note our rider weight limit of 85 kg.
Children from the age of 7 and up can participate. However, we draw attention to the fact that we ride all-day tours, which can be long for children.
If a family member does not want to ride, it is possible to only be on board and lodging, you can also choose to drive your own car to the lunch destination or borrow a mountain bike.
We divide the riders into groups according to what we think gives the best experience.
Unfortunately, we do not accept people with either physical or mental disabilities, as our horses are not suitable, and this will require extra guides. For us, it is a matter of safety and a good experience for all participants. This only applies to the riding, everyone is welcome for board and lodging.
